The present study aimed to critique the Baumrind parenting styles and present a style based on Nahj al-Balaghah. The research is qualitative and based on the inferential method. In this research, at first, the parenting styles of Baumrind (neglectful, authoritarian, and permissive) have been criticized based on Imam Ali's (AS) approach, and then a parenting style has been presented based on Nahjul Balagha. The model has assumptions, features, principles, and results. According to the findings, the model assumptions are divine intention (God's pleasure), educability of man, family-oriented policies, and cultivation of trust. Characteristics were also divided into negative and affirmative features and their examples. The model's basic principle is moderation, and its final and main result is the closeness to God and human felicity.
