Abstract
One of the important and prominent topics in victimology is how to respond to victims, this matter largely shaped by their role and level of involvement in the crime. This assessment significantly influences approaches within the criminal justice system. The present article analyzes this issue within the framework of Alavi justice, as reflected in the words and practical Seerah of Imam Ali (AS), using a descriptive-analytical method. The findings of the study indicate that concepts such as respect for human dignity, ensuring victims’ rights as a divine responsibility, paying attention to victims as a social duty, and supporting the oppressed as a moral value constitute the foundational principles that necessitate an effective and compassionate response to victims. Moreover, this response must be guided by core principles such as justice-centeredness, benevolence, cooperation, and opposition to cruelty in order to be truly effective.
