Abstract
In Islam, the category of work and effort has been given great importance as one of the most important factors in the happiness and prosperity of a society. Imam Ali (AS), along with other religious leaders, was a role model and example for his followers not only in speech but also in action. In addition to his religious and missionary activities, by tireless work, they tried to reduce the class gap and bring Islamic society out of stagnation and poverty. Recognizing the critical role of youth employment in shaping the future of our society and the importance of orienting university students and graduates towards Islamic employment principles and fostering an Islamic work culture, this study employs a descriptive-analytical approach. It examines conceptual examples of the effects and blessings of work from the perspective of Imam Ali (AS) as presented in Nahj al-Balaghah. Furthermore, it outlines key concepts related to work within Islam and the Quranic framework. Universities can promote an Islamic employment culture by: embedding general skill courses with an Islamic business focus into diverse curricula; organizing seminars where entrepreneurs share their experiences guided by Islamic principles and religious teachings; and establishing a commitment among administrators, faculty, and staff to uphold Islamic work ethics within the university setting.
