In this study, the issue of work and employment has been considered as one of the important and influential issues in family and community life. Since in Islamic society, work and earning income are not separate categories from human belief, culture, and faith, this article aims to indicate Nahj al-Balaghah strategies for promoting work and employment culture. The research method is analytical-descriptive. In Islamic culture, work and employment, like striving for God, are considered valuable and sacred because they provide the necessary conditions for human development and excellence. 1 The goal is to promote the culture of work and employment, and to achieve this, we have used the valuable source of Nahj al-Balaghah and Alavi narrations. In this article, the strategies of Nahj al-Balaghah and the basic programs derived from it to promote the culture of work and employment are as follows: faith and certainty influence work, and the value of work lies in honesty; work attracts divine rewards and sustenance, livelihood, and wealth, while repelling poverty; using reason, knowledge, and awareness in work is essential, just as laziness and begging should be avoided; a job should be chosen based on personal choice and interest so that it leads to the flourishing of talent, production, and innovation. Furthermore, the division of work and responsibility, along with time management and discipline, are conditions for success; work should be proportionate to the characteristics of individuals; and persistence and perseverance in work are essential conditions.
