Abstract
Education is one of the fundamental and inseparable issues of human life, which has always been discussed and examined by thinkers and various schools of thought. The breadth of the concept of education and its applications from the perspective of different sciences has made this issue the focus of these discussions. The neglected capacities in the field of education can be identified and introduced using religious sources. Looking at this concept from the perspective of Imam Ali (peace be upon him)and through the lens of Nahj al-Balaghah is an issue that has been less explored. The present research has tried to examine the principles and methods of education in Nahj al-Balaghah with the aim of understanding the concept of education in this book. This research was conducted using an inductive qualitative content analysis method and a non-probability sampling method of the purposeful type, in order to achieve generalizability and adaptability, and of the typical case sampling type, using the text research method. According to this research, education in Nahj al-Balaghah means enlightening and preparing the learner, considering the realities of human life, based on the ideological principles of Islam, and with the aim of developing all dimensions and talents of the learner to reach perfection. Understanding this concept by the teacher can help improve their professional competence and put the learner on the right path of education and training.
